Perspctv: new tool for tracking media mentions

Here’s yet another tool to track mentions of your institution in online media old and new: Perspctv. It’s also a great addition to your reputation-monitoring toolkit.

Still in beta, Perspctv seems to be a good resource for doing a quick search of specific story mentions or references to your institution. The aggregator pulls news stories, blog posts and Twitter mentions into a single dashboard. You can also use it to compare your school’s presence in the mediasphere with others.

(Hat tip to Seth Meranda, who talks about Perspctve on his blog Interactive Media for Higher Education.)
